Baby Steps

First blocking pass at a "vanilla" (as opposed to a walk with personality - maybe that's a Neapolitan :) )walk cycle.  The nice thing about a basic walk cycle is it's got a very distinct formula, so if you can get the key poses down, the rest is fine-tuning.  The hard thing about a walk cycle is it's another one of those things that EVERYONE knows how it should look, so it's very unsettling to see a walk cycle with something not quite right.  It's also something that uses every part of the body, so there are a lot of movements to pay attention to.  Luckily we start with a character that has hips for a head, so we get off easier this time.
